Who, what and why me?
I'm Duba, and there's a good chance I'm sipping coffee in front of a screen right now.
For the past 15 years, I've been a video editor & subtitle producer for all types of video editing projects. Born in 1981 in Israel, I grew up on books like "Danidin, The Invisible Boy". Perhaps that's why as a teenager, I preferred to stay behind the scenes, painting the scenery rather than standing on stage.
Credit and the spotlight don't interest me; I'm content knowing that my actions help others shine at their best. That's why the natural transition to video editing suited me so well. I use my superpower to highlight the beautiful things, remove the flaws, and convey the story in the best way possible for the client. My musical taste, fashion sense, and hobbies shouldn't concern the reader of these lines. What matters is what you want to show, what story you want to tell, and how I can bring that to life for you.
What is it I do?
Design and Graphics
I've worked on logos, wedding invitations, custom and unique t-shirt prints, striking business cards, digital scrapbook-style albums, social media image enhancement, landing page elements, photo retouching, and even a music album cover.
AI
use AI to assist with content writing, target audience analysis, keyword research, and refining my prompting skills. Coming from art history and graphic design, I've learned that AI supports my creative process – it doesn't replace it. The creative vision remains mine.
Digital Album Design
Instagram and Facebook albums are one way to preserve photos. Why not turn them into beautiful works of art filled with memories? With decorative elements and a personal touch through memory writing and digital scrapbook design, this becomes a unique, professional, and meticulously crafted personal gift.
Video Editing
I've worked on all types of video editing projects: documentaries, event coverage of every kind, music videos, lyric videos, medical/science tutorials, presentation videos, image films, promos, stop motion, commercials, YouTube intros, courses, educational content, and more.
Scan & Restoe Old Photos
Scanning and restoring old photos is one of my greatest pleasures. Photos, documents, and letters absorb stains and wrinkles, colors fade. In the worst cases, they get wet and damaged, lost, or torn. If you have photos lying in boxes or old albums from the pre-digital camera era – it's worth converting them to digital files. A simple photo restoration can save so much!
Subtitle Production
Subtitles and translation have become an integral part of films. Even Hebrew-to-Hebrew subtitles have become relevant, not just for hearing-impaired viewers. In the modern world we live in, it's very easy to lose focus. When the screen is on mute, when recording quality is poor, subtitles help you follow and understand what's happening.
