AI
Artificial Intelligence. The thing everyone's talking about like it's either going to save us or replace us.
So, am I an "AI designer"?
No.
I don't just type "make me something pretty" and call it a day.
Coming from art history and graphic design, accepting that AI could help me instead of replace me was honestly a bit of a struggle. But here's the thing: AI is my overachieving intern. It researches, brainstorms, analyzes target audiences and keywords. It never sleeps, never complains, and doesn't steal my lunch from the fridge.
I use it to generate content that helps me create better graphics. To stay current. Because standing still means falling behind, and I didn't spend years studying art history just to get left in the dust by a robot.
Being a graphic designer gives me the upper hand here. I know what I'm looking for. AI spits out options; I'm the one who knows which one has a soul and which one looks like every other generic template on the internet.
The AI generates. I curate, refine, and add the magic that makes it mine.
AI has data. I have taste.
So yes, I work with AI. But the creative vision? The ability to know when something actually works?
That's all me.
