I met Grandpa Motke through his granddaughter, Maya. After a consultation, we collected and scanned the photos at the highest resolution. The entire family, with its many children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, dedicated themselves to writing stories, finding pictures, and showing enormous love for the project.
This is how the album turned into a book, with a very personal touch.
The cover read "Along We'll Go," and Motke, who was orphaned at age 3 and immigrated to Israel at age 8, received this book about his life on his 90th birthday.
Motke was so moved that he stayed up until 3 in the morning to read and look through it.
